Paul Carter

Hi, I'm Paul Carter, founder/director of Little Man Media. Journalist, producer, presenter and director.

I'm an experienced RTS-nominated freelance producer, director, presenter, journalist and speaker looking for opportunities across TV, radio and print/online. I was a producer on the BAFTA-winning London 2012 Paralympic Games coverage on Channel 4. In 2011 I was part of the Media Guardian Edinburgh International Television Festival's 'Fast Track' scheme (now known as 'Ones To Watch') for emerging industry talent. I have experience of working with all the major UK broadcasters, and have presented several prime-time television and radio programmes for the BBC. I'm also an experienced NCTJ-trained journalist, and have written for The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Times, Metro, The Mirror, Disability Now and many other magazines and publications. I'm the founder of Little Man Media, a disabled-people-led social enterprise with an emphasis on social justice, equality and inclusion. Little Man Media is a media production company delivering television and radio programmes, broadcast-quality film and video, journalism and PR and social media services. I spent the last two years as a director of markthree media ltd, a fabulous independent production company making top-quality broadcast television programmes and films for the charity and third sectors. We made programmes for the BBC and Channel 4, and specialised in telling engaging stories. I am also an authority on Paralympic sport and disability issues and have featured as an expert on radio and television stations across the world.
